Proof-reading and copy-editing

Are you, like me, frustrated by the number of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors you see in written material?  What image does it project when errors are included in published material going out to your customers or staff?  

I trained in proof-reading and copy-editing many years ago but have never promoted it as a service...it has just come in very useful to have a keen eye for detail and be able to spot errors, not just typos but changes in font and errors in spacing too.  It becomes a bit of a habit seeing all the mistakes in newspapers and print!
